Join us for a reading of the book, “Sunflower House” by Eve Bunting. Afterwards you will get a chance to create a sunflower craft and plant your own sunflower seed to take home. For ages 3-8.

Students in K-5th grades can help the Cooking Caravan explore the poetry that surrounds us as common library objects and participants are transformed into a full-blown percussion ensemble! This hands-on experience combines literature and music theory in a creative and inviting way that is guaranteed to educate and entertain! Registration is required and begins April 13.

Join us in the lower level of the Lane Road Library for some duck stories and songs. The children will then hunt for rubber ducks and duck “eggs” outside (weather permitting). Afterwards we will make a duck “nest” for the children to take their ducks and eggs home in. Kids of all ages are welcome. Registration is required and begins April 11. In case of bad weather, the hunt will be held in the library.
