Our eBooks are compatible with most readers, including Nook, Sony Reader, Kindle,iPad, and a variety of other devices. If you are using a nook or a Sony reader, we encourage you to bring your own laptop if you have one. Drop by anytime during the two-hour session.

Black Belt Reader Winter Reading Program (Jan 7th-Feb 16th)

Age Group: 

PreK-12th grade. Be a Black Belt Reader this winter by participating in our 6 week winter reading program! Students can participate by visiting any of our locations and picking up a “Black Belt Reader” form. Read six books to be entered into a prize drawing at the end of the program. Non-fiction books will be highlighted this year. Prizes are grouped: Pre-K, K-2, 3-5, 6-12.

Tie Dye It Yourself! Using Sharpie markers we’ll tie dye a t-shirt or whatever piece of clothing you choose to bring. We’ll also have a few other surprise projects for those that want to branch out!
Participants need to bring their own white or light colored t-shirt (100% cotton is best) or other piece of clothing to tie dye. Library will supply the Sharpies. For kids in grades 6 through 12.
