Join us for high-energy fun and audience participation as Chip Richter shares original songs, familiar favorites, and stories that will inspire kids to “dig into” the wonderful adventure of reading. For preschoolers-5th graders and their families. No registration is required.

Drop A Beat, Grab the Mic

Learn to mix, mash and scratch beats at the DJ center, while participants at the MC center are learning to write and perform rhymed couplets on a live microphone. This hands-on program combines music theory and literacy and ends with a wild performance. For Grades 6-12. Registration is required for this program and begins June 8.

Friday Night Live: Jewish Folk Music

NBC 4 meteorologist Ben Gelber and his nine-member ensemble “Friday Night Live Music” will perform a program of historic Jewish and folk melodies, featuring vocalist Cindy Leland. The program offers a blend of traditional melodies with roots in Eastern European and American culture with a tinge of Yiddish folklore.
