Preschool Seeds and Flowers

Date: 

Saturday, May 18, 2013 - 10:30am to 11:15am

Age Group: 

Preschoolers and their caregivers can join us for a hands-on program exploring seeds and flowers. We’ll read some stories, do some music and movement activities and each child will leave with some planted seeds. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that can withstand some messy fun! Weather permitting we may be outdoors. Registration is required and begins May 4th.

Olivia is Here!

Balloon Sculpting Workshop for Kids!

Age Group: 

Learn how to transform balloons into cool creations! Erica Carlson, from Erica Carlson Children’s Entertainment, will teach kids how to make basic twists and coach them through sculpting some of their very own creations. For kids in grades K-5. Registration is required and begins June 15.

Dig It? Draw It!

Age Group: 

Have a “hole” lot of fun with Jeff Nicholas and his new cartooning program. Jeff entertains the audience with original illustrations and humorous poems and stories while teaching how to create his quirky, underground characters using a simple “draw along” cartooning method. Suggested for children ages 4 yrs and older.

Strengthen your reading skills by reading out loud to these very patient listeners! Volunteers from Central Ohio Good Shepherds will bring their therapy dogs to Miller Park. The dogs will listen to the children read and you can find out more about this wonderful organization. Join us for an evening of reading and dogs! For children in grades K-5.

Bento Inspirations: Manga!

School starts next week. Matsuri Con is coming up! Why not celebrate both by making your own delicious bento box lunch inspired by your favorite manga or just for a fun alternative to a regular lunch.
