  • Promotes and educates patrons on the use of online resources such as the library catalog, inter-library loan and library databases.

  • Assists in the development of reader’s advisory tools including booklists, bibliographies and displays.

  • Two or more years work experience in a library or education environment preferred.

Assists with the sorting, shelving, and neatness of library materials; performs additional clerical and facilities-related duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

  • Sorts, organizes and shelves library materials.

  • Empties book drops and organizes materials.  Empties book drops during holidays and other library closings.
  • Identifies materials in need of repair/replacement and takes appropriate action.
  • Conducts item searches as assigned.
