UAPL Book Circle

Join us for an informal discussion of Four Seasons in Rome: On Twins, Insomnia, and the Biggest Funeral in the History of the World by Anthony Doerr. Author Anthony Doerr packs up his life, his wife, and his new twins and moves to “the Eternal City” for a year after winning the Rome Prize, one of the most prestigious awards from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Once there he tries to live, write, and get some sleep while remaining awake to the beauty and experiences awaiting him around every corner. Anthony Doerr will be visiting the UAPL in October. This is a chance to experience his non-fiction writing and learn a little about his life.
