Process Art for Preschoolers - Exploring with Paint!

Process-oriented art is open-ended and focuses on the exploration of the tools and materials rather than the end-product. This month, we will explore a variety of creative ways to use paint! Wear old clothes - it might get messy. For ages 3-6. Registration is required and begins December 26.

Got fines? Got food? The UAPL will clear $1.00 of your fines for every canned or boxed food item that you donate to the Heart to Heart Food Pantry, up to a total of $10. Drop off your donations anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room. Please check expiration dates in advance! Don’t have any fines but want to donate anyway? Bring your food items to us and we’ll be glad to get them delivered for you.

The Christmas Story Through Art

Anne Peterson, a Columbus Museum of Art docent, will present biblical stories of Christmas through beautiful works of art housed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. Some of the featured artists include Fra Angelico, Jan Van Eyck, and Fra Filippo Lippi. Registration opens on December 4th.

Polar Express Shadow Puppet Show and Workshop

Local educator and professional puppeteer, Rebecca Riley, will perform her shadow puppet adaptation of the classic children’s book, The Polar Express. Following the performance, she will host an interactive puppet making workshop. For ages 4-12. Registration is required and begins November 29.
