Upper Arlington Winter Festival & Tree Lighting Ceremony [2]
The start of the holiday season will become official in UA when Mayor Frank Ciotola lights the tree and the community celebrates with music, Santa, carriage rides, and much more. Don’t miss the festivities in Mallway Park Friday, November 30 from 6 to 8:30pm, followed by Holiday Happiness at the Main branch of the UA Library the next morning.
Merry and Bright at Franklin Park Conservatory [3]
The Franklin Park Conservatory is known for their fun and family-friendly events around the holidays. The place is transformed with hundreds of poinsettias, Christmas lights, gingerbread houses and more decoration to the delight of your whole family.
Holiday Tours on Capital Square [4]
See holiday decorations as they were in Victorian Times and learn about the historic Statehouse on one of their free walk-in tours happening multiple times every day from December 1 through 31. Check the Statehouse’s website for more information.
Wildlights at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium [5]
Everything but the animals are decked out with lights at the Columbus Zoo, so bring the kids to see Santa and his reindeer, live music, light shows and more, through January 1.
BalletMet’s The Nutcracker [6]
Seeing the Nutcracker at the Ohio Theatre is a family holiday tradition here in Columbus. The show runs from December 7 through 23.
