Request for Volunteer Program Presenters

The Upper Arlington Public Library is always looking for people that have special skills, knowledge or talent and who are able to volunteer to share that talent with children by offering a program! Previous volunteers have shared how to play chess, draw manga, and taught various crafts such as knitting.

► High School Interns

All High School Interns positions have been filled. Thank you for your interest!

The Youth Services Department at the Main Library is seeking up to five high school interns to help throughout our Summer Reading Program. Teens entering grades 10-12 or who graduate high school in 2013 are eligible to be an intern. The positions involve a commitment of 8-10 hours per week from June 4-August 3. Details can be found on the application. Applications are due by Wednesday, May 1, 2013

► Junior Volunteers

The Youth Services Department at the Main Library is seeking 50-60 junior volunteers to help with this year's Summer Reading Program. Students in grades 7-12 wishing to help register and award prizes at our summer reading table are encouraged to apply for a Junior Volunteer Position. Details can be found on the application. Applications are due by Monday, May 20, 2013.

► Book Buddies Big Buddies

Our popular Book Buddies program will also be returning this summer. Teens entering grades 6-12 will be paired with a younger student and act as their "coach". Details can be found on the application below.
