The Kids and Teens Blog
March 22nd was National Puppy Day! What a great way to bring in Springtime with a loveable, joyous, bouncing, full-of-life puppy! We have a lot of great books that celebrate all the wonderful things that puppies and dogs bring into our lives. A recent book called Naptime with Theo and Beau celebrates the bond between a young child and his puppy. Check out the video for the book for a sneak peek at all the interesting and endearing ways these too share sleeptime, playtime, and each other.
A few other great books that really depict all things dog and puppy are Little Puppy and the Big Green Monster by Mike Wohnoutka, Ball by Mary Sullivan, Dog Blue by Polly Dunbar, What Puppies Do Best by Laura Numeroff, Shaggy Dogs, Waggy Dogs by Patricia Hubbell, Ping Wants to Play by Adam Gudeon, Bogart and Vinnie by Audrey Vernick, The Way I Love You by David Bedford, and Kate and Pippin by Martin Springett.
