Heritage Quest Online has a learning center with video lessons to guide genealogists of all levels through different research topics, like how to find information in courthouse records or newspapers. The PERiodical Source Index Archive, or PERSI, can be used to find relevant articles from genealogy and local history magazines, and Heritage Quest Online has more than 25,000 digitized family and local history books, all of which are searchable by name, place or publication. In addition to searchable Census records, Heritage Quest Online also lets genealogists search Freedman’s Bank records and pension and bounty-land records from the Revolutionary War.

Provides full-image coverage of the nation's premier source for business and financial news from 1889 through 1995. Search for specific topics or browse page by page through each issue. Access the historical New York Times and Washington Post from this same database.
