Swiss Steak Supreme

Ingredients

1⁄2 c
flour
2 t
salt
 
pepper
1
arm roast or thin chuck roast
2 cn
tomato bisque soup
1⁄4 t
garlic powder
2
bay leaves
1 1⁄2 t
basil
1 1⁄2 t
celery seed
1 1⁄2 t
parsley flakes (optional)
1 1⁄2 t
oregano
1
medium onion (chopped)
2 T
Worcestershire sauce
1 T
soy sauce
1 c
mushroom pieces (optional)

Instructions

Mix flour, salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; pound into steak. Brown steak in small amount of hot fat in Dutch oven. Combine soup, 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper and remaining ingredients; pour over steak. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Serve over noodles.
