We help people navigate a wide range of print and online resources to find credible information-- and get authoritative answers to their questions. All questions are treated with confidentiality.

  • answers to brief, factual questions in person, by phone or by email
  • research and search-strategy assistance
  • guidance using UA Library’s print and digital resources
  • assistance using library scanners, computers, and software
  • free proctoring for college-level exams
  • research databases and digital subscriptions, including Ancestry, Value Line, and Consumer Reports
  • reference books, encyclopedias, directories, atlases, etc.
  • magazines, newspapers, and newsletters, including free digital subscriptions to the New York Times
  • local collections for Upper Arlington, Columbus, and Ohio, including the digital UA Archives
