Library Closed for Labor Day

Please note that all three UA libraries will be closed on Sunday, September 5 and Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. The Friends of the UAPL Book Sale will still take place on Monday during the UA Labor Day Arts Festival. Regular library hours resume on Tuesday, September 7.

 

Miller Park Library is Open

While the roundabout at the Miller Park Library is under construction, the library is open and can be accessed via Cambridge Blvd. to Stanford Rd. For more information and updates, visit the City's web site.

Update on Lighting Improvement Project


On the recommendation of the Operations Committee, the Library Board at their June meeting agreed to rebid the lighting improvement project with an addendum that included a new timeline. There will be no change to the primary objective of the project which is to upgrade and thereby improve the quality of the lighting with an energy efficient system. If the Board is able to award a contract after this bid round, the project is expected to be completed by November 19, 2010.
